George IV Coronation, Gold Pendant, gold and glass, circa 1821, by Tassie, bare head laureate bust of George IV profile left, 32 x 27 mm, contained within gold mount in the form of a snake swallowing its tail and integral loop and ring for suspension. Extremely fine. £Sold
The portrait is the same as that used by Rundell Bridge and Rundell for their coronation medal of 1821. The medal was subsequently used to be given to North American Indian Chiefs and also used for royal presentations.
