Abolition of Slavery, Alabaster Plaque, , circa 1800, a kneeling wax figure of a slaves in chains, attended by Britannia with a ship and mountains in the distance, speech coming out of one slave's mouth, THANK GOD FOR LIBERTY, 136 mm, contained in original alabaster frame with verre eglomise surround. Some minor restoration, otherwise good very fine and very rare, the figure of the kneeling slave very striking in high relief. £Sold
