Wyon, a uniface reverse impression, the three Graces standing representing Architecture, Painting and Sculpture, AEMULA QUAEQUE SORORIS, ( EACH THE RIVAL OF HER SISTER)/ ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS/ INSTITUTED/ MDCCCXV111, 54 mm. (BHM. 1465), contained within glass lunette and original red leather case. Extremely fine and rare. £Sold
This is the reverse of the annual prize of the Royal Academy of Arts. Nine specimens of the medal were awarded on 10th December 1830.
