George IV, Sulphide Portrait, glass, circa 1821, By Pellatt and Green, laureate draped bust left of George IV, rev. ornate hatching, 152 x 125 mm, contained in original papier mache frame with integral loop for suspension. Good very fine. £Sold
The portrait is the same as that used by Rundell Bridge and Rundell for their coronation medal of 1821. The medal was subsequently used to be given to North American Indian Chiefs and also used for royal presentations.
