ALSO PHOTOGRAPHS OF LIEUT. WILLIAM LEEFE ROBONSON, V. C. , WORCESTER REGIMENT & R. F. C. WHO ATTACKED THE ZEPPELIN UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES OF GREAT DIFFICULTY AND DANGER, AND SENT IT CRASHING TO THE GROUND AS A FLAMING WRECK. The paperwork contained in a Huntley and Palmer's biscuit tin. SL-11 was the first German airship to be shot down, falling prey to the guns of the BE2c piloted by Lieutenant William Leefe Robinson, RFC, during a raid over London. Robinson was awarded the VC for this action.
