BLACKBURN PITT CLUB 1814, edge engraved, Thomas Makinson Admitted 11th May 1815, 42 mm, contained with glass lunettes with integral loop for suspension. Some oxidisation under the glass, otherwise good extremely fine and rare. £Sold
The London Gazette of 1815 records that Thomas Makinson of Blackburn was appointed Master Extraordinary of the High Court of Chancery by the Lord Chancellor.
