Brown states that the Museum of London has one example of this medal in silver and three examples in copper. However, he states that their examples are unsigned whereas this one is. They were a private speculation by the artists and could be obtained from the Wyon premises on Regent Street. They were intended to be used on watch chains or jewellery.
