London, Westminster Bridge Road, Royal Circus and Amphitheatre
The Royal Circus and Equestrian Philharmonic Academy opened in 1782 under the direction of Charles Hughes and Charles Dibdin. It was reconstructed as a theatre in 1799 and rebuilt as the Surrey Theatre in 1806. In 1816 it was retitled as the Royal Circus Surrey Theatre.
