Peter Cameron notes an account of the livery dinner for 1810. "The Morning Post of May 23rd carried an account of the Dinner of the Loyal and Independent Livery Dinner at the London Tavern in Bishopsgate Street. The Company, apparently, consisted of "about 700 persons who were accommodated by Messrs. Hale in the Grand room and the adjoining room."Every precaution was taken by the Stewards to prevent the intrusion of improper persons.The full page article gives details of the various toasts, songs and speeches in defence of the Constitution."
