Samuel More,(1725-1799). Secretary of the Royal Society of Arts from 1769 to 1799. he was a good friend of Wedgwood, staying at Etruria for a week in 1776. He was also interested in the technical side of pottery making and helped him acquire Chinese clay for experiments.
