Bowcher, three portraits of Queen Victoria the Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra conjoined, rev. a view of the bridge with a steam yatch passing through, TOWER BRIDGE OPENED 30TH JUNE 1894. 76 mm, (BHM3476), contained in original gilt letterd case for the Corporation of the City of London. The Times correspondent described the opening of the bascules as "imposing in the same sense as a great convulsion of the natural world; it was an exhibition of resistless force which held the spectators spellbound and speechless."
