WHATSOEVER/ YE WOULD THAT/ MEN SHOULD DO/ TO YOU, DO YE/ EVEN SO TO/ THEM, 33mm. Rubbed on the high points with some marks in the fields, otherwise about very fine and very rare in silver. £Sold
On 22nd May 1787, a Committee for the Abolition of the Slave Trade was set up under Granville Sharpe. These tokens were struck and sold to fund the work of that Committee.
